Aulux Barcode Label Maker is professional barcode label software that provides a fast and convenient way to create barcodes. This software offers a full complement of barcodes for shipping, packaging, tracking products and other uses. It provides templates to create barcode labels of any size and lets you import data from Excel, Access and text files.

With this barcode label maker, you can create linear, or one-dimensional, barcodes. With this application, numerous symbologies are available. A barcode symbology is the details, such as spacing of the bars, the character set, encoding info, etc. The symbology basically tells you what type of barcode you are using. The barcodes have different names for different purposes, and some of the symbologies included with this barcode label software are Code 11, Code 32, Code 39, Code 93, Code 128, Codabar, FedEx Ground 96, Industrial 2 of 5 and Interleaved 2 of 5.

In addition to one-dimensional barcodes, this software lets you produce two-dimensional barcodes, such as QR codes. These barcodes provide more data in a little amount of space. While some programs can create even more types of two-dimensional barcodes, there are still plenty of options available.

Aulux has barcode symbologies for several countries' postal systems, including Australia, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Singapore and Switzerland as well as seven barcode symbologies for the U.S. postal service. There is detailed information within the application on each of the barcode symbologies and their data properties.

This barcode software allows you to save barcode labels as images and print them with Windows-compliant printers. You can lock and unlock barcode labels to protect them from being changed.

The software runs in 10 languages, among them Dutch, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese and English.

Because Aulux Barcode Label Maker lets you produce entire barcodes and labels within the user interface, it does not copy barcodes to Microsoft Office Suite products such as Word. However, it does let you import data from MS Suite.

Additionally, you can choose from various fonts. You can also change the color of the text and barcodes, though you can’t change background colors. Both U.S. standard measurements and metric measurements are offered.
