PROS / EZnet includes up to 25 users per subscription.
CONS / This software only integrates with iCal. It doesn't integrate with other popular programs like Outlook or software solutions, such as CRM or accounting software.
VERDICT / EZnet is a basic scheduling application. It is one of the least intuitive programs we evaluated. If ease of use is important to you, you might want to consider other online scheduling program for your company.
EZnet Scheduler is an online booking program we reviewed that allows you to set up automated telephone, email and text message reminders so your clients don't miss their appointments. In addition to being competitively priced, EZnet allows up to 25 users per account.
This online scheduling software was among the least user-intuitive platforms in our tests, earning a client online scheduling experience score of just 55 percent. In our tests, reviewers had trouble loading the scheduling platform and experienced further issues establishing recurring appointments.
Scheduling issues aside, this meeting planner offers some useful online scheduling features for your clients. You can customize it to include important information, such as hours of operation and business contact information. You can also cancel appointments through the online scheduling platform and schedule text reminders about upcoming meetings. There are intake forms, so clients can complete pre-appointment paperwork beforehand.
A couple of tools are missing: EZnet Scheduler doesn't allow you to create wait lists, but this is a very uncommon feature that not many programs include. It also will not convert times, which is helpful if your clients live in a time zone that is different from where your office is located. This software is also missing a mobile scheduler, which allows your clients to schedule appointments easily from a mobile device.
The administrative side of this online scheduler was similarly difficult to navigate effectively. Our reviewers had trouble setting up accounts and had to refer to the help menu to complete even simple tasks. This appointment-scheduling software received a score of 65 percent in our administrative interface navigation tests.
While using the platform was difficult, especially when setting up our account, EZnet offers many features and administrative tools important in scheduling software. One beneficial feature is that your clients can see how much a meeting will cost and even send payments through the scheduler when they book their appointment. Unfortunately, you can't create or send an invoice or set up a payment schedule. You will need to invest in a business accounting program or service for these tasks.
You can embed this online scheduler into your company website. While this is more convenient than placing a booking button that links to an external booking site, the EZnet Scheduler shows up relatively small once it's embedded. While we were testing this program, we had to scroll down and back and forth in order to read all of the important instructions and complete our online appointments. This made the process more difficult compared to using the full booking website and is why it received a score of 60 percent in our embedding integration tests.
The only program EZnet integrates with is iCal. While this isn't a wide selection of options, it does mean this solution works well on Mac computers and devices. However, EZnet is missing many of the major integrations that top scheduling software programs offer to help you track and organize your appointments conveniently in one place, such as integration with Outlook or with popular accounting or CRM applications.
The EZnet Scheduler is an online booking solution that also supports in-office scheduling. While we found it difficult to use in our hands-on tests, it offers many key features the top scheduling programs offer. However, using the embedded scheduler from your company website may be challenging since it is condensed and requires clients to scroll down and over in order to complete the appointment-setting process. This program is not the easiest to navigate and only integrates with iCal. If you do not use a Mac or if scheduling is an important part of your business, you might want to consider other scheduling application for your small business.
