Day 29 of trial.
The HTTP traffic scan really slows down surfing. Enabling Antiphishing will also contribute to a surfing slowdown. While enabling everything will bog down any system!
In OLEv6 the Antispam plugin works, sometimes. It has a habit of

No problem with downloading and installing, but after installing, my browser could NOT access any Web page at all. I had to remove the program until I can get assistance with the problem.

"I think the interface is somewhat lacking in this program. I KNOW the virus scanning, although thorough, is quite slow (takes 24 hrs to scan my system completely--much longer than other programs).

I have been using internet security from BitDefender for several years. This time I decided to try the Total Security. I do a lot of uploading of photos onto the internet. Total Security totally freezes my computer when I upload. It is not a firewall

I've had nothing but trouble with this software. Since installing, Gmail has come to a screaching halt. I reported problem to BitDefender and their reply was that problem was to be fixed with an auto-update and I am still waiting for it after 90+

The best one my opinion is bitdefender internet, it has im encryption, antivirus, antiphishing, antispam, privacy protection, firewall, and more! I have it installed for about 6months now, and it works great.

The HTTP scanning engine slows down surfing.
There is a bug that causes loss of window focus while typing an email.
The antispam plugin is very buggy and sometimes does not work at all. I did have a running conversation with tech support about the problem. I gave them tons of useful information but they seemed to have given up since I haven't heard back from them in over a week. I asked twice if they were working on it but they failed to respond.
Time to move on.

No, it is not the best there is. Norton Internet Security Suite 2009 is by far the best.
