SpaceTime is a noble attempt to take tabbed browsing to the next dimension by combining the aesthetics of Apple with the Google interface. The concept is to provide an unlimited amount of 3D space to browse any number of windows.
Speed & Compatibility
While SpaceTime provides all the essential features of an Internet browser, they stop there. SpaceTime lacks a password manager, RSS feeds, parental controls, or add-ons. And with this much emphasis on multiple tabs, SpaceTime seriously needs a save tabs function.
SpaceTime is pretty easy to use, but not as intuitive as other browsers. The interface is neat, but not simple enough to use.
While SpaceTime does allow you to quickly and easily delete your browsing history, it doesn't have solid security. There is no anti-phishing technology or pop-up blocking.
Help & Support
SpaceTime's help is useful but maybe not enough for such a complicated browser. They have a user guide and user forum, but we would really like to see some tutorials and online help.
SpaceTime is pure Internet browser eye candy, but sacrifices features and speed. Still, it doesn't feel gimmicky. We recommend you check it out; SpaceTime is fun to see but probably not to use long term. SpaceTime is a good start to a really impressive concept, but it needs more. For more features and an easier to use browser, we recommend Firefox or Google Chrome.
