The iToolSoft Blu-Ray Ripper is also Blu-ray to DVD converter software that supports multiple output formats. Unfortunately, this application doesn't possess quite the same level of functionality or technical support available with other products.
iToolSoft Blu-Ray Ripper does not offer any significant or unique features that users won't be able to find on other analogous applications. There are a few (very) basic after-done actions and users can adjust some output parameters including bit rate and resolution. Additionally, there is a preview window that displays the target Blu-ray source (or selected clips from the source) and a splitter function. But other than that, noteworthy functionalities of the software are few and far between. The Blu-ray to DVD converter software is, however, outfitted with built-in Blu-ray decryption and it does offer Blu-ray to Blu-ray copying so users can make 1:1 backup copies of expensive Blu-ray discs (BD).
Just like many other Blu-ray to DVD converter applications we reviewed, this one also has decent output quality with little to criticize. In all of our test runs, we only came across one perceptible yet small skip in the converted video. We were also surprised to find the audio maintained its overall quality and there were no synching issues with the audio and picture.
iToolSoft Blu-Ray Ripper has a similar design and layout to some of the other products we reviewed. There's a main navigation bar at the top and video settings at the bottom with the preview screen dominating the right of the interface. The placement of such functionalities enables relatively easy navigation and a simplified conversion process.
We found the software's accompanying technical support to be highly disappointing. Although the iToolSoft website has ample information, support resources specifically for the Blu-ray Ripper application are spotty at best. There is a very brief user guide that touches upon little more than the basics of the conversion process. There is also a breif section for FAQs relevant to the application.

The site does have a help center where more general issues can be addressed. For instance, there's information on how to retrieve a lost key code (required to download the web-based software) and questions regarding ordering. To contact the company, users have to use the single email address that can be found on the site.
Overall, iToolSoft Blu-Ray Ripper is average Blu-ray ripping software that delivers purely fundamental functions (though we will give credit for robust built-in decryption that can bypass copy protections). Considering its cost and current functionality, we'd recommend another one of our higher-ranking applications; users will get more bang for their buck by opting for slightly more expensive yet definitely more functional Blu-ray to DVD converter software.
