TicketCity Concert Tickets Review

TicketCity has been in the business of connecting ticket brokers with concert goers for almost 30 years. The website is a safe place to order concert tickets, and it has a money-back guarantee if the tickets you purchase aren’t delivered prior to the event or if they aren’t authentic.

Our Verdict

TicketCity doesn’t have the service features we look for in the best concert ticket sites, but it is a good place to compare prices with other secondary ticket brokers.

For

  • This service has good customer support options.

Against

  • You can’t filter search results to show you the best available seats.

TicketCity has been in the business of connecting ticket brokers with concert goers for almost 30 years. The website is a safe place to order concert tickets, and it has a money-back guarantee if the tickets you purchase aren’t delivered prior to the event or if they aren’t authentic. The customer support team is available by phone, email or live chat seven days a week to answers questions about your order or to help you make a purchase.

TicketCity is easy to use but lacks some search functionality found on the best sites we reviewed, like Ticketmaster and StubHub. Like other concert ticket websites, it has interactive seating charts alongside the ticket listings. The listings also include an e-ticket option and parking passes, when available. You can also filter your search to show e-tickets first. This service doesn’t, however, show you the best available seats for a given concert.

Transactions are protected by VeriSign security, so you can feel safe sharing credit card information. This service is also a member of the National Association of Ticket Brokers (NATB) and adheres to its strict code of ethics. When you buy concert tickets from a member of NATB, you have an added layer of protection against buying fraudulent tickets, and if you are defrauded, you can rest assured that you will get your money back.

The search function on TicketCity’s site is not as advanced as those on most services we reviewed, but it has a section dedicated to music festivals. Tickets to music festivals rarely sell out, but because TicketCity is a secondary broker, you might come across tickets for below face value.

TicketCity can’t compete with the best online concert ticket services we reviewed, but it is a good place to compare ticket prices against other secondary dealers. You won’t find as many options on this site as on larger brokers’ sites, but we found tickets to all three concerts we looked for in our testing process.
