Scrap Ease is off to a good start with simple, easy-to-use applications and controls, but like several of its website pages, Scrap Ease is still under development and full of awkward quirks.

Scrap Ease still has a lot of kinks to work out, but with special attention given to templates and embellishments, many might find Scrap Ease worth the inconveniences.

Scrap Ease can import most file formats. However, direct scanner or digital camera uploading is not available, requiring additional uploading and transferring.

Scrap Ease offers an abundance of stylish templates and embellishments, with a focus placed on an eventual printed product.

Scrap Ease provides resources for both email formatted sharing and web publishing but is mainly organized around physical scrapbooking.

While Scrap Ease has a lot of kinks and quirks in its software, I wouldn’t discount it completely. Perhaps in future versions, as they move from an emphasis on embellishments and templates to the brass tacks of coding, Scrap Ease will become a standout product. But until then, use with caution—and patience. But if you can't wait, check out the top-ranked digital scrapbooking software.
