Paternity testing through Genex’s SwabTest is the second cheapest that we researched after Paternity Depot, and it offers 99.9 percent accuracy in its paternity testing. If you’re interested in maternity, avuncular or grandparent testing, this company also offers these tests in addition to a legal chain of custody test.

Genex operates in a laboratory that is accredited by AABB as well as ISO 17025. The company advertises accuracy as high as 99.9 percent in its paternity testing, which is similar to the other paternity tests we researched.

You can select which test you want to purchase on this company’s website, and the testing kit will be mailed to you. If you need a split test to be mailed to two different locations, this company also offers that option. SwabTest offers many different tests including several which other companies didn’t offer, like a prenatal test, a twin test, a forensic DNA test and its own ancestry test. Genex’s ancestry test is much more expensive than the other ancestry tests we tested, however, and if you’re interested in testing your ancestry, we recommend that you choose a dedicated ancestry company instead.

Genex will send you the results of your test in three to five days, which matches the average time period that we found in our paternity test research. If you need faster results you can pay an additional fee to have Genex rush the testing kit to you, or you can choose a different testing company that offers faster testing. DNA Diagnostics Center offers results in one to two days, for example.

You can contact this company by phone or email, and the pricing information is very clearly available on its website. It’s easy to see how much each test will cost depending on the number of people involved with the testing.

If you’re searching for a paternity test, Genex’s SwabTest offers high accuracy, a wide range of relationship tests and one of the lowest prices we found in our research. However, if you’re looking to get a paternity DNA test, we recommend you use Paternity Depot because it offers similar accuracy and speed for a lower price.
