The Visioneer Strobe scanner is very user-friendly. The operating panel has only a few simple, easy-to-read buttons. Using this document scanner is very effortless. It is not a traditional flat-bed scanner. Instead it looks more like a fax machine or printer. You load up to 20 different pages into the tray, and start the desktop scanner. It will scan all different sizes of documents, and it reads both sides of the document simultaneously. However, there are no text recognition options, and most other similar scanners can handle between 50 and 75 sheets in one scan job.

Getting the document scanner started is very simple. The digital filing system will process up to 20 pages at a time and save them all to your computer. If you are trying to save copies of all your receipts or you need to scan and save legal documents, this scanner can handle it all. It works with documents as small as business cards and as large as legal-sized documents. The pages can be an assortment of sizes in one scan job too. This will save you time because you won’t have to sort through all the papers and match sizes before scanning them. And you don’t have to load each page individually, so this document scanner is a great time saver over traditional flatbed scanners.

This scanner works through the scan jobs quickly and efficiently. Scanning and saving documents is easy with this PDF scanner, and the digital copy is high-resolution file on your computer. This is especially useful for digital document management.

The most popular file format when uploading and saving documents is the PDF file format. The document scanner comes with all the software and drivers you need to start using the machine immediately. And while PDF file formats are common, this document scanner can upload your documents in an assortment of file formats, including JPEG and TIFF files. The high optical resolution of 600 dpi allows you save the scanned documents with a high resolution.

However, this document scanner doesn’t have text recognition software and it doesn’t import documents that re easily and immediately connected to different software programs such as QuickBooks or Outlook. This document scanner is fast, but it lacks some of the advanced features we found in other scanners.

The PDF scanner is compatible with both Windows and Mac operating systems. It will work well with both types of computers, which is a plus because some scanners are not compatible with both types of computers.

This document scanner connects to your computer with a simple USB connection. It may not be as nice as a wireless scanner, but it’s still simple to connect and use.

The manufacturer of this sheet-fed scanner has a few different customer support and troubleshooting options. You can contact a customer support representative through a customer support telephone line. The team also has an email address, and when went sent messages, we received prompt and helpful responses.

The Visioneer Strobe is a useful scanner. You can scan all different sizes of paper, and feeding up to 20 sheets at a time is a great improvement over traditional scanners. However, most other similar scanners support more than twice that. Additionally, it does not have any text recognition options.
