Black & Decker LE750 lawn edger: Features

The electric edger has two rear wheels and a guide wheel in the front. The rear wheels make it easy to handle without lifting. The front guide wheel keeps your lines straight without guesswork so that the finished job looks professional.

You engage the motor with a trigger on the handle. That makes the edger easy to start and stop. It also includes an auxiliary handle for guidance. The handle position is adjustable, so you can move it to the proper place to operate the edger whether you are left or right-handed.

The 7.5-inch hardened steel blade and 11-amp, 4,700-rpm motor have the cutting power to slice through the toughest grass and roots, but the blade is a little on the small side.

You can adjust the cutting position by hand, enabling you to move the lawn edger where you want to work. The edger's lightweight, compact size and maneuverability make it possible to get into tight spaces and cut around curved areas. The blade lasts longer if you begin cutting at a minimum depth and increase the setting when the blade shows wear.

The Black & Decker LE750 edger weighs 12.4 pounds, which makes it easy to handle and gives it good maneuverability. In addition, the light weight helps you avoid strain and finish the job fast. But this lightness comes at the cost of raw power.

Black & Decker LE750 lawn edger: User reviews

Some user reviews criticize the handle on this lawn edger, saying that the design makes it uncomfortable to hold. More positive reviews praise this edger though, and state that it offers great value for money. The edger is described as perfectly able to cut neat edges and many said it's a great choice for anyone who doesn't even have any experience in cutting edges.

Should you buy the Black & Decker LE750 lawn edger?

The Black & Decker LE750 is a lightweight electric edger and trencher that can help you complete your yard work easily. Because it is an electric edger instead of a gas edger, you can start it as easily as pushing a button on the handle, and the additional handle gives you full control on where the blade is at any given time. If you're looking for a super powerful model then this isn't the one for you, but what it does offer makes it a solid choice.
