The INADA DreamWave uses airbags and rollers to deliver various amounts of pressure to your body. Considering how expensive it is, we are surprised to find that it doesn't offer many of the features found in high-end massage chairs. It makes up for this initial lack by offering dozens of manual and preset massages for you to choose from.

It comes with eight preset massage sessions: full body, full body air, youth, quick, morning, night, stretch and DreamWave. Each session uses different amounts of pressure and duration so you can choose which one fits your needs. You can also use the 18 manual massage settings to select the perfect massage technique that you want. Some of these techniques include kneading, human hands, double kneading, tapping and shiatsu. The human hands technique earns the name by mimicking the feeling of human hands on your back using rollers.

Using the remote, you can adjust the amount of air pressure in the airbags, speed of the rollers, and position of the rollers. This chair is only intended to give 15-minute massages. The company warns that using it longer than the recommended time can cause injury.

When using the namesake DreamWave setting, the chair rocks from side to side to create a relaxing rhythm. You can choose to have a heated massage warm your buttocks and lower back. The footrest uses rollers and airbags to massage your calves and feet. This unit does not offer engulfed arm massages, but it does massage your upper arms, forearms and palms. Surprisingly, it also doesn't feature any form of zero gravity massage or body scanning technology, so if those are high priorities this might not be the chair for you. If you do want those features, you might want to consider the Luraco iRobotics 7.

The INADA DreamWave works best for people between 5 feet and 6 feet 5 inches. As for the weight limit, INADA says, "[There is] no specific published limit. If you can fit, you can sit." The chair weighs 265 pounds and will need to be assembled when it arrives. If you'd like visual help, there's a step-by-step video on INADA's webpage that shows you how to put everything together.

INADA's white glove delivery is available throughout the 48 contiguous states and includes indoor delivery to the room of your choice, assembly, and packaging removal. This chair comes in black or dark brown and comes with a standard three-year warranty, which covers parts, labor and on-site service. There is a pocket specifically intended for a smartphone or MP3 player so you can keep your devices with you in an easy-to-reach location.

The INADA DreamWave is a powerful massage chair, and even though it doesn't have body scanning technology, zero gravity settings or engulfed arm massages, the quantity of massage choices and sturdy warranty still make it a good choice for anyone wanting a high-end massage chair.
