This service has several great options to choose from to make your wireless home security system exactly what you need. Guardian uses certified dealers, so you will usually work with and purchase your system from someone locally rather than interacting with Guardian Protection Services directly. However, you can contact Guardian directly to ask about its professional monitoring services and wireless alarm systems.
Like every wireless home security system, Guardian Protection Services will alert you to intruders with door and window sensors, motion detectors and alarm panels. Guardian can also detect fire, carbon monoxide, break-ins through a window and extreme temperature changes; however, these alerts are not included in the standard package and therefore cost extra.
The standard Guardian wireless security system package includes a motion detector, a wireless control panel, a door sensor and a few window sensors. You can upgrade your package and include video cameras, an intercom system or additional motion detectors, and window and door sensors. Guardian has pet-immune sensors that won't trigger an alarm when your pets move around while the system is armed. This is only true of pets smaller than 40 pounds.
Guardian doesn't have DIY systems, so you will end up having to pay a professional to install the equipment and devices. All of Guardian's wireless alarm systems come with a lifetime warranty, though.
Guardian has the ability to sync to your mobile device so that you can receive notice if an alarm is triggered at home. This also gives you the option of interactive monitoring, so you can see what your wireless video surveillance system is picking up. Home automation is also available, which lets you arm and disarm your alarm no matter where you are. Guardian also has 24/7 professional protection through its monitoring services.
More on Security
Even though Guardian Protection Services will have your wireless home security system professionally installed, it's nice to know that there are FAQs and online tutorials to help you set and use your system. It is easy to contact support personnel through email and phone.
Guardian Protection Services is a decent company to consider for your home security needs. While you will have to pay to have the system installed, you have options to monitor your home for fire, carbon monoxide and temperature change in addition to the standard intruder detection.
