The Ozeri OZF3 comes with a midrange price tag. It has a unique design and is not bad to look at. While it’s not as effective as the best tower fans in our lineup, we got decent coverage in our tests, and it’s relatively powerful.
The Ozeri has a touch-sensitive control panel that allows you to control each of the three fans individually. This makes it possible to find a great airflow rate to keep you cool. The OZF3 has traditional push buttons with an LED display and a light-dimming night mode. You can also adjust the height of the base, moving the tower fan from 42 inches to 32 inches if you want cool air closer to the ground.

With a 90-degree oscillation range, the OZF3 is designed to be placed in the corner of a bedroom or living room and noticeably increase the airflow and circulation. In our tests we got good coverage for up to about 15 feet. You can set a timer between 30 minutes and 7.5 hours on the Ozeri fan to automatically shut off the power, enabling you to sleep through the night without having to get up and turn the fan off. The LED lights are very bright on this fan, but you can dim them for sleeping. The remote control features a snug storage feature on the back to help prevent losing it, which is a common problem.
The remote has a lot of information, but it’s clearly marked and corresponds to the buttons on the unit itself. A tower fan should be easy to use, and for the most part the Ozeri is, though it can take practice to use the various buttons. It lacks the simplicity of a fan like the Vornado Tower 184.
Ozeri does not have a listed phone number to contact customer service with, but the company responds to emails. The site does not have a FAQs page, live chat or links for owner manual downloads. It is disappointing that the customer service options are so limited. The Ozeri tower fan comes with a limited one-year warranty, which, while standard is significantly shorter than the five-year warranty on the Vornado.
Should you buy the Ozeri OZF3 tower fan?
While Ozeri tower fans can keep you cool, they tend to run louder than many tower fans. Fortunately, the 3x and Ultra 42 include programmable timers and are aesthetically pleasing. If you are looking for an affordable tower fan and can sleep through loud fan noise, the Ozeri tower fans are worth considering.
