The GoWise 14 Qt is the largest pressure cooker in our comparison, with the ability to handle more than double the amount of food of other pressure cookers while still providing fast cook times. This makes it ideal for family reunions or gatherings where you’re expecting to feed roughly 10-15 people. It runs on 1600 watts, which is more power than the other pressure cookers in our comparison, but considering its size this extra power is needed.

In our testing, the GoWise had the fourth fastest overall rice cooking time at 23 minutes and 30 seconds, which was surprising considering how large it is. It produced well-cooked rice that was slightly sticky but soft. During the pot roast test, our reviewers stated that the beef was a little dry and bland compared to some other devices, but this pressure cooker was still able to produce decent food that can satisfy your crew. In terms of quality, it doesn't match the best Instant Pots, though.

GoWise sells this model in both a 12-quart and a 14-quart option so you can choose the size that fits your needs best. The company also offers 3-quart, 6-quart and 8-quart sizes, which are more typical for the average user. Unlike the other machines we compared, this one doesn’t provide a steamer rack, which reduces the amount of cooking possibilities available to you, but it comes with a measuring cup, rice scooper, recipe book and a heating plate to get you started. If you’d prefer a large device that comes with a steamer rack, you might be interested in Gourmia’s 12-quart model.

It also features 12 preset buttons: rice, multigrain, porridge, soup, sauté, steam, meat/stew, bean/chili, poultry, yogurt, slow cook and egg maker. You can also manually adjust the pressure or cooking time of your meals. The sauté button allows you to brown meat or vegetables on low, medium or high before pressurizing them so you can get your meat seared or your onions caramelized without using a stovetop.

The inner pot is made of stainless steel and has a ceramic inner coating, which makes it very durable and easy to clean. In our testing, this device cleaned pretty easily, but it did take a little longer than the other devices simply because it was larger. According to the GoWise, the pot should not be cleaned in the dishwasher. The manufacturer covers this device with a one-year warranty, which is typical but isn’t the best coverage we’ve seen. It features plenty of protective features like a locking lid and lid-close detection to keep you safe. As expected, this pressure cooker is a very large appliance so it will take up a lot of room on your counter or when stored away.
