The MacBurn software is a simple, user-friendly Mac DVD burning application. However, there are no features to burn copyrighted DVDs for backup purposes. Also, there are no ripping features, Blu-ray support, label or menu creators. The lack of certain features makes this software less appealing than other similar Mac DVD burning software programs.

MacBurn will only burn basic DVDs and CDs. There is no option for DVD compression from DVD-9 to DVD-5. And this Mac DVD burn software will not burn any material that is copyrighted.

However, for basic DVD and CD copying, MacBurn does pretty well. There is even an option to burn dual-layer DVDs. Use this Mac DVD burning software only for burning non-copyrighted videos, one copy at a time.

There are a few small features that make MacBurn fun to use. There are customization options to add graphics to the interface to organize DVDs by title and by different icons. You can also edit the tags and information for each DVD. There are also options to make the title, track information, and comments visible on Macs or Windows.

This Mac DVD burning software is missing several key features, but some of the additional options are fun to use.

The Mac DVD burning software supports the basic disc burning options. You can use CD-R(W), CD+R(W), DVD-R(W) and DVD+R(W) discs. This DVD burning application is also compatible with dual-layer DVDs.

MacBurn has extremely helpful customer support options. When submitting a question on the online form, you will receive an order number to track your response. When we submitted a question in the online form we received a detailed answer within hours.

However, there is no option for immediate customer support because there is no phone support or live email chat.

MacBurn does not try to be anything more than an easy-to-use Mac DVD burning software program. There is nothing flashy or outstanding about this product, but it does effortlessly burn basic DVDs that are not copyrighted.
