Ghost Keylogger, from SureShot Software, receives a poor rating. The main reason for the poor rating was because the application crashed numerous times. The install was easy, but once installed, it seemed to have all kinds of problems.

The product basically monitors keystrokes and identifies which websites you have visited, but that is all. One interesting feature that the other products didn't have was the ability to filter out certain keystrokes. As in most of the other products, when looking at the keystroke logs, you get all of the annoying ENTER, or TAB key designations. With Ghost Keylogger, you have the additional option of filtering these annoying keystrokes out of the logs.

The install was easy.

Overall, Ghost Keylogger is lacking a number of features. The product needs a lot of work to be able to compete against the other spyware/monitoring software in the marketplace.
