In the short time LiveWatch has been in business, it has learned how to satisfy its customers. The company lets you customize your home surveillance system with a variety of indoor and outdoor security cameras, alongside a great number of detectors and sensors. Setting up the equipment is quite easy, and LiveWatch has service representatives to help you through the installation.

LiveWatch's monitoring station is open 24/7. This company is one of the best options for people who already have equipment, such as CCTV (closed-circuit television) cameras and sensors, in their home and are just looking for a compatible home monitoring service. If you obtain equipment from LiveWatch, you pay the full price for it upfront.

You have the option of a landline or cellular setup, the latter being the standard setup for modern security devices. LiveWatch allows you to record up to 1,000 video clips to online cloud storage. This translates to roughly 500MB, which is a very good amount of cloud storage for a home security service.

LiveWatch has a feature called ASAPer that sends notifications and alerts to your smartphone or computer faster than other security camera systems on the market. When configuring ASAPer, you specify the individuals for it to alert if there is a problem and the way to contact them, whether it be through phone call, email or text.

During an alert, instead of contacting these people one at a time as traditional security camera systems do, ASAPer contacts them simultaneously. The people on your ASAPer contact list can then immediately follow up using a group chat within the app to resolve problems in real time by dismissing a false alarm or calling the authorities. Each contact person also gets a follow-up notification telling them how the situation was resolved.

LiveWatch equipment comes preprogrammed to speed up the installation process. The company offers live chat support, but it is only available for a few hours a day. LiveWatch does not have repair technicians to visit your home to fix your devices, which means you have to handle the hassle of mailing in broken devices for replacement. Still, it offers an excellent refund policy, which allows you to return your equipment for a full refund for one year. You can even cancel your service without paying a termination fee, which is a remarkable feature in the home security monitoring industry.

The surveillance camera selection you get from LiveWatch is fantastic. You can choose from six types of security cameras, the most in our review. The resolution for these cameras is HD quality. For inside your home, you can choose indoor fixed, indoor night-vision or, for a device you can control remotely, pan-and-tilt cameras. LiveWatch is one of the few security camera providers in our review with a dome camera option as well, which is a round, tinted camera that conceals the direction the lens is recording.

For protection outside the house, you can purchase outdoor infrared bullet cameras. These cameras record in complete color and switch to black and white at night to achieve the highest clarity, with a night-vision range of 39 feet. LiveWatch also offers an image sensor that captures still photos when the attached motion sensor detects movement.

In addition to security cameras, LiveWatch offers a wide variety of sensors, detectors, medical-alert pendants, and key fobs that arm and disarm the security system. The Plug&Protect Basic security package includes a control panel, a motion detector, a key fob, and two door and window sensors. If you find you need additional equipment, you can buy it from LiveWatch's extensive selection. This company has 40 different add-on security devices for you to choose from.

LiveWatch offers first-rate security cameras without charging an arm and a leg for monthly service. The company does not offer professional installation or repair technicians, but its customer support is otherwise extensive, with 24/7 monitoring station service. LiveWatch is a unique and excellent provider for your home security needs.
