WorfFlash offers a decent set of tools and includes definitions for nearly 4000 words. But we found numerous grammar inconsistencies in this vocabulary software. For example, the following example was taken directly from the program: “Lexy makes an excellent teacher: he explanations of technical punts are l–––d enough for a child to grasp” (without a period at the end of the sentence). Though, some sentences do have periods, grammar errors are distracting and can mislead students.

The provider of this software offers little support and does not provide a telephone contact number.
