Deborah Looi is a plant expert and founder of GardeningCollective. She has been an avid houseplant collector for more than a decade. Over the years, her collection has grown to over 100 plants - a lot for a tiny apartment! Besides decades of hands-on experience, she has taken several horticulture classes to hone her skills, including from the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (RBGE). She has read extensively on applying a scientific approach to plant care.
