The Bestway SaluSpa Miami is a hugely popular inflatable spa, and is backed by one of the leading manufacturers for inflatable products. The Bestway SaluSpa Miami is well-rated in terms of value for money, ease of use, and durable construction, but as we explain in our review, it isn’t suitable for all families or households due to its smaller size. That said, we love the SaluSpa Miami so much that we have added it to our lineup of the best inflatable hot tubs, as it provides a consistent, relaxing massage session courtesy of 60 bubble jets.

With the help of an energy saving timer on the Bestway SaluSpa Miami, you can schedule your pampering time in advance, and return home to a bubbling tub. While it may not come with some of the other premium features associated with the world’s very best hot tubs, this portable option is far easier to assemble and run. It also comes with a much more affordable price tag, making it suited to those who want to dip their toes into water therapy without splashing too much cash.

In our Bestway SaluSpa Miami review, we look at its spec, design, features, and what existing customers think about it. For more water therapy content, check out our guide to the best swim spas for home use.

Bestway SaluSpa Miami Airjet review: Design

Bestway SaluSpa Miami Airjet review: Spec

●     MSRP: $579.99

●     Size: Two to four people

●     Dimensions: 52” (inner diameter) / 71” (outer) / 26” (height)

●     Weight: 53.9lbs

●     Material: Tritech (3-ply reinforced PVC)

●    What’s included: Cover, multi-function pump, ChemConnect dispenser, two filter cartridges

Thanks to an internal structure constructed from beams, the Bestway SaluSpa Miami is designed to not collapse under any outside pressure, which should help to prevent any pesky spills. The puncture-resistant Tritech material is twice fortified with 3-ply PVC to make it a lot more durable. This will also help to protect the Miami against leaks and tears, while also remaining soft to touch.

The material is also designed to be UV-resistant, so it shouldn’t crumple and crease after prolonged use outdoors during hot weather, ensuring you can keep the Bestway SaluSpa Miami wherever you desire. The idea is that the Miami will keep its firm, round shape, even if you’re planning on deflating and inflating it regularly and moving it to a new spot in your backyard.

Capable of handling 177 gallons of water at a time, this inflatable spa has room to fit up to four people, and comes with a built-in massage system to pool heat from the spa and air from the bubbles to create a blissful water-based massage. You won’t have to worry too much about keeping the water debris-free in between uses either, as you can shield the water using the included cover.

You won’t find any built-in headrests with the Miami, so if those are a deal-breaker for you, read our Intex PureSpa Portable Bubble Jet Spa review instead.

Bestway SaluSpa Miami Airjet review: Features

Leaving all this hot, bubbly water will be the last thing on your mind, thanks to the attached digital display control panel, which enables users to control the water temperature up to 104 Fahrenheit while you’re sitting in the tub. You can also use the control panel to add another layer of relaxation: simply touch a button every time you feel like a calming full body massage and switch on the 60 bubble jets.

When it comes to water quality, you want to feel safe in the knowledge that your skin is being pampered too. Thankfully, the multi-function pump doesn’t just help you inflate the Bestway SaluSpa Miami, it also regulates the filtration system to ensure your water stays healthy. This works alongside the ChemConnect dispenser, there to evenly distribute chlorine to help keep any nasties under control.

The power-saving timer is by far the handiest feature, as you can simply pop on the timer in the morning and return home to bubbly hot water by the time evening arrives. Schedule your sessions with the Bestway SaluSpa Miami up to 72 hours in advance – perfect for date night.

Bestway SaluSpa Miami Airjet review: Support and user reviews

On Amazon, the Bestway SaluSpa Miami has an impressive average rating of 4.3 out of 5 stars, from over 2,419 user reviews. Existing customers praise how easy it is to use and assemble. In particular, they gush over the timer function, which affords them greater control over the temperature of the water.

One user review on Amazon said: “It is hot and I feel immediately soothed and relaxed. I was not expecting it to feel this warm because the reviews said it would not get extremely hot but it is hot enough for my husband and I.” While another customer points out, “I bought this as a soak after work or over the weekends. At this price it's about the price of a 2-3 day hotel stay with a professional spa, but lasts a LOT longer than that.”

However, one of the biggest complaints is that, once the bubbles are turned on, the temperature of the water can quickly drop down. Sadly, a few users also claimed that the SaluSpa Miami began to leak after several uses. “We used it one time before it popped,” one user alleged.

If anything does go wrong, the Bestway SaluSpa Miami comes with a one-year warranty and you can order spare parts from their site. They also have a dedicated website for customer support, with articles for troubleshooting and a product support line for customers, where you can register a product or create a claim.

Should you buy the Bestway SaluSpa Miami Airjet?

While the Bestway SaluSpa Miami doesn’t have the premium features such as LED lighting or high-powered jets, you get a decent selection of features designed to make your at-home relaxation as stress-free as possible, for a more affordable price. Easy to assemble and use, the Miami is suited to complete beginners or anyone who wants hassle-free relaxation at home. It only fits four though, so if you want a bigger tub, check out our Intex PureSpa Greywood Deluxe review.

While some users have reported leakages and complain about the temperature control once the bubbles are put into action, its one-year warranty should put you in good stead to resolve any urgent issues. Plus, with an energy-saving timer and digital display control panel, you have the ability to schedule soaks in advance and, once inside, extra control is on-hand courtesy of the digital control panel.
