There aren’t many travel benefits attached to the Citi® / AAdvantage® Gold MasterCard®. Of the travel benefits that this air miles credit card does include, the best is the concierge service, which can prove very helpful to you if you're a frequent traveler and you're often unfamiliar with your destination cities. Like the best frequent flyer credit cards, you won’t run into blackout dates when booking travel with the frequent flyer miles you earn on this card and you're able to redeem miles for international flights.

This card’s sign-up offer is quite generous and almost makes up for the lack of travel benefits. If you spend $750 with the card in the first three months, you receive 25,000 bonus miles. When you use your card to purchase your travel fare, you're automatically enrolled in a number of key features with this card. For instance, when you purchase a flight, you receive travel accident insurance and are eligible for lost luggage reimbursement, and when you rent a car, you receive rental car insurance (if applicable). This card also includes extended product warranty and purchase protection when you use your card on certain purchases.

You won’t get an introductory annual percentage rate offer with this card; however, its standard APR is impressively low already. For purchases and balance transfer transactions that you make with this card, you can expect a 13.99% to 21.99% Variable APR.
