Janet Loughrey has been a garden photographer and writer for25 years. Currently, she lives and gardens in Portland, Oregon (USDA Zone 8b), where she tends an eclectic mix of roses, shrubs, perennials and bulbs on a standard city lot. She’s also gardened in upstate New York and Arizona, giving her a great appreciation for different climates.
