1. Solo Stove Bonfire 2.0

Solo Stove's most popular model

Fuel Type: Wood | Diameter: 19.5 inches | Item Weight: 28.5 pounds

Mostly smoke-free fire
Extractable ash pan
Large enough for a group
Stainless steel shows fingerprints

The Bonfire 2.0 is Solo Stove's most popular model. The updated removable ash pan makes it easy to clean by emptying used ashes out into the trash (once cooled). We found that a modest amount of wood burned for over an hour, meaning that the fuel-efficiency is well above that of the average fire pit. While the Bonfire 2.0 is one of Solo Stove's larger designs, it's still easy to transport in the carry case and is made from stainless steel which is built to last.

When testing the Bonfire 2.0 we loved the size, which is large enough to be enjoyed by a group, but not as large as the Yukon 2.0 which is best suited to big spaces. We did find that, due to the stainless steel construciton, the Bonfire 2.0 is not the most storage-friendly and probably best suited to those with a shed or garage to stow it away when not in use. It does come with a case though, which protects it from the elements if you're happy to leave it out.

2. Solo Stove Yukon 2.0

Solo Stove's most largest fire pit

Fuel Type: Wood | Diameter: 27 inch | Item Weight: 28.5 pounds

Low-smoke output
Great for entertaining
Removable ash pan
An expensive choice

Weighing in at 41.6 lbs, the Solo Stove Yukon 2.0 is far from portable, but as the brand's largest fire pit it's perfectly suited to those patios with space for a permanent centerpiece. The diameter of 27 inches is large enough to add a cast iron cooktop for a convertible grill element. You can also pair it with a heat deflector, and a stand that can save your grass or patio tiles from any potential damage.

It comes with signature AirFlow design, one of Solo Stove's biggest selling points. As the air is pulled through the intake holes, the double-wall construction heats it and feeds through to the top vents providing an extra boost of pre-heated oxygen. This creates a strong flame that is free from that typical campfire smell - ideal for those not wanting to wash their clothes after sitting outside.

3. Solo Stove Pi Pizza Oven

Perfect for al fresco dining

Fuel type: Wood or Liquified Petroleum Gas | Item weight: 30.5 pounds

Dual-fuel capability
Great for beginners
Durable design
Difficult to transport

Inspired by restaurant-quality wood-fired pizzas? The Pi Pizza oven from Solo Stove makes it simple to create this at home, instantly upgrading your weeknight dinners and acting as a great conversation starter when hosting. The functional design makes it handy for beginners, as not only is it quick to set up but the panoramic opening is easy to launch pizzas in and out of.

The dual-fuel capability is what we think makes this pizza oven worth the price tag, as you can convert it from wood-fired to propane-fuelled depending on your taste preference and time availability. Like other Solo Stove products, it's made from stainless steel which offers a stylish touch to your outdoor space and is durable offering peace of mind that your investment lasts.

4. Solo Stove Titan Camping Stove

The most compact camping stove

Fuel type: Wood | Power source: Gas powered | Item weight: 16.5 ounces

Lightweight and compact
Boils water in record time
Perfect for traveling
Small so not ideal for large groups

The Titan is Solo Stove's most compact camp stove, making it the ultimate purchase for any keen campers and backpackers. It weighs just 16.5 ounces and measures 7.9 inches tall, so will easily fit inside a backpack without any interference. This smaller size also makes it easy to whip out and set up when the time comes to start cooking.

It also uses twigs and kindling to quickly get the fire started and the airflow ventilation system means that you can boil water in under 10 minutes - great for quick coffee breaks or speedy dinners in the cold. The patented double-wall design creates ultra-clean gasification and secondary combustion, reducing the amount of smoke.

5. Solo Stove Grill Ultimate Bundle

Be the best host with this grill kit

Fuel type: Wood or charcoal | Weight: 17.5kg

Optimized for grilling
Includes all the necessary accessories
Amazing for entertaining
Harder to transport than other models

Solo Stove's fire pits are designed to burn hot and fast, making it harder to control your cooking and avoid unintentionally burning anything. This is where the grill comes in. It has 360° Airflow technology that creates the optimal convection cooking environment, so you can achieve the same dishes outside, as you would inside.

The short stand included in this bundle provides a great height for a comfortable sitting level, so those gathered around can each get involved in the cooking. It also has all of the necessary cooking tools like a spatula, tongs, and meat fork to make it even simpler. The grill carry case and protective cover will keep it safe from the elements, as well as enabling you to take it on camping excursions or to your friend's and family's homes.

6. Solo Stove Ranger 2.0

Transporting your fire pit couldn't be easier

Fuel type: Wood | Item weight: 15 pounds

Removable ash pan for easy cleaning
Compact and ultralight
Ideal for small homes
Issues with rust

If you're looking for a great all-rounder for your outdoor space or adventures, the Ranger 2.0 will be the Solo Stove for you. It's the most compact, portable fire pit so can easily be moved around a space or taken with you on trips. It's also as easy to clean and put away as it is to set up: the new removable ash pan is quick to detach and empty straight into the trash to minimize any mess.

Like other models, the AirFlow technology superheats air to burn off fumes before it gets anywhere near your clothes or hair. This will transform the experience for those used to frequent washing as a result of time spent by the fireside. This choice is a solid starting point if you're new to the brand, and can be upgraded with accessories like a heat deflector or cast-iron cooktop.

How to choose the right Solo Stove deal

If you're looking to buy your first Solo Stove product, or you've decided it's time for an upgrade, it's worth assessing what you want out of an outdoor stove or fire pit before you purchase. Maybe you go on frequent camping trips with only a backpack or perhaps you love hosting large groups of family and friends - in either case, your requirements will be entirely different.

Solo Stove has a range of outdoor products from fire pits and grills to camp stoves, so think about whether you want your new purchase to be primarily for heat purposes or cooking. The grill models, for example, have a system that mimics convection cooking which will instantly upgrade your al fresco dining.

Portability

Weight is a big determining factor when picking a Solo Stove as this will impact how easy it is to transport. It's no use buying a larger stove that you want to take away on trips if it becomes cumbersome to carry. Likewise, if it will live permanently in your yard then weight probably won't be an issue.

Fuel type

Fuel type is likely to be another large determining factor. Some models like the mini camp stoves can be fuelled entirely by kindling making them easy to use in and with nature. Some others have the dual-fuel capability and can be converted to gas, so if this is important to you it's something to look out for.

Versatility

Some Solo Stoves are designed to only function of outdoor stoves, but others come with heaps of attachments to transform them into cooking stations, patio heaters, and even a place to rest your beer once you've placed a lid on top.

Have a think about what you want from your Solo Stove and buy accordingly. Although they cost more up-front, a bundle deal is the ultimate way to guarantee a multi-functional fire pit.

Does Solo Stove do Black Friday deals?

Good news, Solo Stove does offer Black Friday deals. Or at least, it did last year. We can't 100% guarantee that the brand will offer Black Friday Solo Stove deals in 2022, but given the brand's regular seasonal promotions, we'd bet on there being some unbeatable savings when you shop on the Solo Stove site this year.

Last year, Solo Stove offered $160 off the Solo Stove Bonfire + Stand, and the most impressive discount was on the Solo Stove Bonfire Ultimate Bundle, which was on sale for just $419.99 (with a saving of $370 - nearly 50%)

When is Black Friday 2022?

Black Friday 2022 will take place on November 25th, but we expect to see savings well in advance of the big day. Last year, we saw many of our top discounts in the days leading up to Black Friday, which helped shoppers to pick up their full wishlists before any of their must-haves sold out.

Cyber Monday is also a massive deal for Solo Stove deals. It takes place on the 28th of November 2022, and can often be a great time for online shoppers to pick up those last few pieces before the deals stopped.

Black Friday is always the perfect place to complete your holiday shopping. After all, if you're prepared to buy presents a month in advance of the holidays, why shouldn't you get the reward of saving some serious money?
