Sony VAIO S Series

The Sony Vaio S Series laptop computer is fully customizable. You can build your laptop to your specific needs so you don’t overpay for stuff you will never use. You have the option to go with the 2.5GHz Intel i5 processor with turbo boosts up to 3.1GHz, or you can go for the gusto and upgrade to the i7 processor that can get up to 3.6GHz of processor speed. Regardless, you will be able to notice the speed of this computer’s processor.

This mini laptop offers 6GB of memory at base level. You have the option to upgrade your memory all the way up to 12GB. Even with the base model Vaio S, you are going to get 500GB of hard drive storage, which you can upgrade up to 1TB with an HDD. You have the option to have a 512GB SDD, but the SDD is a little pricier.

This laptop is equipped with an Nvidia GeForce GT 640M LE graphics card. This middle to low-end card works well with videos and games that aren't very resource intensive. This graphics card is still an upgrade from most basic integrated graphics cards you will find in base models of laptops, which are really only good for watching movies and streaming your webcam video.

The Sony Vaio S Series offers you screen resolution that is comparable to our top-ranked products. The graphics card is simple, but with a high-definition screen, colors are vibrant and the contrast is electric. The 1920 x 1080 screen makes videos and graphics look how they're supposed to look.
