Flexispot OC13: Setup and usability
The chair came in a very large cardboard box which would be strenuous to carry for individuals living up multiple flights of stairs. It was possible to carry the box solo, but would be much more comfortable with an extra person to help.
Setting the chair up was a fairly straightforward process, with instructions and all the necessary tools provided. However, a second pair of hands is almost indispensable to put it together. The wheels were challenging to slot into the base of the chair, requiring a strenuous effort to push them into place. Whilst instructions did come with the packaging, it did not contain text and the diagrams were usable but not particularly intuitive.
The cushioned seat is around 3 inches deep, providing plenty of comfort for the user’s sitting bones, and is designed to hold a maximum weight of 275 lbs.

The Flexispot OC13 is fitted with five multifunctional castors, allowing the chair to roll around quickly and quietly on all floors materials, be it carpet, parquet or tiles. The chair has a mesh fabric for the back and seated area, which is extra breathable. This is very convenient if you’re sitting for extended periods of time, especially in warmer temperatures.
It comes in a single grey and beige color scheme, with no other color options available, which some users might find disappointing. However, it looks very sleek and modern, and we think it’ll fit nicely into most home office spaces.
Flexispot OC13: Features and performance
This high–quality chair is a great choice if you’re looking for long-lasting comfort whilst working from home. The breathable mesh back of the chair keeps the user from getting hot and bothered. We found the fabric padded seat really comfortable, and we were very happy sitting for hours on end.
A fantastic level of adjustability is offered through variable seat height, armrest height and recline angle, all of which can be actioned through levers situated by the seat. The curved shape of the seat back, alongside the lumbar support, ensures the user can maintain a strong posture throughout the day. We were able to adjust the chair just right to fit our needs.
The wheels are smooth, quiet and easy for the user to control, a real delight. The chair makes very little noise when you move it around, which is convenient if you’re sharing an office space with someone else.
