The Gabrylly Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair is one of a host of office chairs specifically designed to support the human body while it sits and works. These types of chairs often have headrests, armrests, and the main body designed to offer support at pressure points such as the neck and shoulders.

Whether you're working in an office, at a hot desk, or in the comfort of your own home office, the right office chair is essential. We have rounded up some of the best ergonomic chairs (opens in new tab) on the market, but here we are looking in more depth at the Gabrylly model.

Gabrylly Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair: Key specs

Seat Depth: 19.3 inches

Seat Width: 20 inches

Seat Height: 18.5 – 22.05 inches

Max User Weight: 280 lbs

Warranty: 1 year

Mesh office chairs have one big benefit – ventilation. The mesh provides airflow between the body and the seat, making it more comfortable to sit for long periods. This will be ideal if you have warmer offices in general, or you feel the heat in the summer months. Mesh chairs are also easier to clean than any fabric equivalent, scoring points for durability and easy maintenance.

With a nice roomy seat, adjustable headrest, and flip-up arms this ergonomic mesh chair is the ideal place to sit if you are a fan of chair yoga, and moving and stretching at your desk. There's a little restriction here, so if you want to move and do a seated yoga sequence while you work then you can.

Our review looks more in detail at the chair's design and ergonomic features to help you with your buying decision.

Gabrylly Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair: Features

The Gabrylly Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair is designed to provide plenty of space if you like to regularly stretch out as you work. Ideal for chair yoga, the wide seat and flip-up arms means there’s an ample surface to get flexible without restriction.

This means you can move the armrests back and enjoy a fully seated yoga sequence with sideways bends. That, plus spinal twists to keep your back, shoulders and neck feeling supple throughout the working day.

The Gabrylly Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair is also designed with ergonomic supporting points on the head, back, hips and hands. These are there primarily to boost your comfort and support during longer periods of sitting, or in general if you experience pain or pressure in those parts of your body when sitting. For our top pick for next-level support and comfort when sitting, read our Nouhaus Ergo3D Ergonomic Office Chair review (opens in new tab).

Other notable features of the Gabrylly chair include a breathable mesh covering to keep you cool, and a maximum weight capacity of up to 280lbs. While this is perfectly adequate for a wide range of bodies, we've evaluated other office chairs with a much higher weight capacity.

We'd recommend reading our La-Z-Boy Trafford Big and Tall Executive Office Chair review (opens in new tab) for a chair that can support up to 400lbs in weight.

Gabrylly Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair: Design

The Gabrylly Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair has been created to offer targeted support of your neck, shoulders, back and glutes, keeping your posture aligned as you work. The headrest can be adjusted in terms of height and angle, providing pin-point neck support.

However, Gabrylly advises that the headrest is best suited to individuals who measure between 5'5" and 6'2". So if you fall on either side of this range, you might not get the full benefit of this added neck support.

If you like to stretch at your desk, the spacious 20" wide mesh seat should offer plenty of room to maneuver and also holds weights of up to 280lbs. Those flip-up arms give you even more room – ideal for seated twists and side stretches – and allow you to push the chair further in under the desk when work is done.

The mesh back and seat is also designed to keep the air circulating, making the Gabrylly Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair a cooling and comfy choice. During the summer months, you'll be thankful for this.

Gabrylly Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair: How could it benefit you?

There’s a great deal of flexibility with the Gabrylly Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair, making it super-easy to get those much-needed desk yoga moves in. With breathable fabric keeping things cool, you don’t have to worry about overheating either. For another breathable option, check out our Ticova Ergonomic Office Chair review (opens in new tab)

While the headrest isn’t suited for all heights, if you fall between 5’5” and 6’2” then you should feel comfy and supported by this chair. Here are some of the other main benefits of the Gabrylly Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair:

  • Proper lumbar support to protect your back
  • Folding armrests for seated yoga moves
  • Breathable design keeps you cool during the hotter months
  • Designed to boost comfort and support during eight-hour shifts
  • Fully adjustable to achieve the perfect sitting height for your desk

Gabrylly Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair: User reviews

With over nearly 3,000 user reviews on Amazon, there’s clearly a lot of love for the Gabrylly Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair. 70% of those reviews have awarded the chair a 5 out of 5 stars rating, with lots of praise for the wide seat and comfy headrest.

One user review stated how: “I'm happy to say the chair is extremely comfortable and the customer service was impeccable. Highly recommend this product.” While another commented: “Comfort wise, this chair is top notch. It's supportive, it reclines, and the height adjusts. The fabric is a breathable and comfortable mesh.”

But the feedback from customers isn't all positive. Some users were disappointed by the "short height of the headrest", while others complained that some screws were missing, which affected assembly of the chair.

There's currently no direct customer support available for Gabrylly, which is disappointing, but any queries or returns were addressed quickly by the retailer on Amazon (its main selling space).

Should you buy the Gabrylly Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair?

Ergonomic chairs by their nature are designed to offer support where anyone working at a desk needs it most. The Gabrylly home office chair has an adjustable headrest to suit different heights, a roomy seat bed, and flip-up arms to suit your needs and working style.

Although the adjustable headrest may not suit all heights, the chair should keep you cool in hot offices or during heatwave homeworking. With room to move, it's also a solid choice if you practice chair yoga routines and like to stretch and keep your limbs working through the day.

The lumbar support, breathable design, and adjustable seat height are ideal if you're between 5'5" and 6'2.

If this product isn't for you

None of us are created equal, and we all have different needs when it comes to office chairs, whether that's through height or weight capacities, or the level of adjustability and lumbar support. If the Gabrylly Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair isn't for you, then why not consider one of our other options below:

The La-Z Boy Tafford Big and Tall Executive Office Chair (opens in new tab) is a higher-end choice but it's packed full of comfort features. Its plush memory foam seat will cushion your body for long periods, with flexible air lumbar tech adjusting as you move. This chair has a weight capacity of up to 400lbs, with a good level of tilt and height adjustments in the 'waterfall seat' so is a great option to reduce pressure and improve blood circulation.

By contrast, the Modway Articulate Mesh Office Chair (opens in new tab) is a good budget option. Just like the Gabrylly this chair is mesh-backed but has a cushioned seat for extra comfort. You get a fair amount for the price, as it still offers lumbar support with tilt tension, and a lock on the recline/incline so you can stretch out safely.
