Quick ScreenShot Maker by EtruSoft Inc. makes it easy to capture desired screenshots and add useful special effects to them. But, an almost non-existent feature set and a limited capture capacity kept this competitor in the minor leagues. Though it has quite a few editing tools, they do not work very well, nor are they that effective.

Quick ScreenShot Maker doesn't have many additional features, although it does come with an image viewer. Beyond this, this program offers very little.

Quick ScreenShot Maker is a fairly basic program and, once you've spent some time familiarizing yourself with its tools, it is rather easy to use. We docked this program's score in this area because it doesn't include a toolbar, which increases screen capture ease and convenience. It has slow navigation and provides a lesser-quality outcome. We were not impressed by the tool bars.

Although they aren't as convenient to get to as other programs, this screen capturing program does offer some highly-effective capture methods. One of these methods is the scrolling screenshot capture, which automatically captures the entire document or webpage, instead of only what's displayed on your screen.

This program, however, does not offer the option of text capture, freehand capture, and you can't select individual images, texts, boxes, tables and so on.

This software also allows you to insert arrows and text balloons onto your screen captures and comes with several editing tools, including crop, resize, mirror, rotate and so on.

In addition, a convenient resize button lets you resize your screenshot by pixels or percentages, which helps reduce distortion, and a quick image importer that lets you import images from other sources into the program.

Quick ScreenShot Maker also features a freehand drawing tool, but we found it difficult to use and the program does not offer a batch converter tool.

Quick ScreenShot Maker by EtruSoft Inc. is decent screen capture software, that's easy to use and comes with first class help support. But, it lacks too many additional features and screen capture methods to really compete against other screen capture products out there.
