After a degree in Home Economics and a short stint in the food industry, Helen took a job reviewing household appliances at the Good Housekeeping Institute in 2007. This is where she learnt how to thoroughly evaluate everything from vacuums to blenders, slow cookers to coffee machines. And since then Helen has written household advice and product reviews for some of the biggest titles around including Ideal Home, Homes & Gardens, BBC Good Food, Tom’s Guide, TechRadar and TopTenReviews.
When she’s not in her kitchen testing out the latest appliances, Helen can be found doing a spot of gardening at her home in the Buckinghamshire countryside or, sweating it out in the gym. She loves a bit of interior design and DIY, and even takes on the odd upholstery project.
