The Cricut Maker is a high-end gadget, which is capable of cutting 300 different types of material, including vinyl, felt, leather and denim. The machine usually retails for around $369, but it's currently on sale for just $299. That’s actually the lowest price that we’ve ever seen for this machine, offering a full $70 saving.

We think that it's one of the best die cutting machines currently available. It’s relatively easy to master, even if you're a complete beginner to the craft, and is also incredibly quiet. On top of that, it's got a great range of features and is capable of debossing, scoring and transferring delicate foil accents onto projects.

This particular model – available in rose, champagne, lilac or blue – comes with a standard pack of utensils: the rotary blade and drive housing, the premium fine point blade and housing, and the fine point pen. You have a lot of further options if you want to expand your machine though, as Cricut is famous for its huge suite of add-on tools. You can get additional scoring wheels, perforation attachments and more if you want to improve your crafting game.

Also available in Lilac, the die cutting machine measures 21.12, so it can handle large crafting projects.

You’ll also get 50 free ready-to-make projects when you complete your Cricut purchase, which you can access via Cricut Design Space. This design software comes as standard with your machine and you use it to upload designs. It’s not to be confused with something called Cricut Access, which is an additional subscription that allows you to download and play with special fonts and images.

The Cricut Maker is a mighty piece of equipment, weighing in at 23.7 pounds and measuring 21.12 inches wide. If you’re in need of something a bit lighter, you could opt for the portable Cricut Joy machine, which is currently on sale for $139. This usually retails at $159.99, but it’s only capable of handling smaller jobs.

Cricut itself is conducting a huge sale via its website, but a lot of the models seem to have sold out there. However, Amazon seems to have plenty of stock, so we suggest you turn your attention there if you’re trying to track down one of these special deals. You may get lucky and find one in the Prime Day USA deals this year too.
