Electrolux EI30EW45PS double wall oven: Features

Both the upper and lower ovens provide a convection option. With this technology, a small fan circulates the hot air to cook your food quickly and evenly. Both the upper and lower ovens boast 4.8 cubic feet of cooking space, which is plenty to cook large dishes or multiple dishes at once. It also features an IQ-Touch panel that displays all of the controls and settings at once. This allows you to choose from the large variety of features and settings on this wall double oven with ease.

This electric wall double oven has all of the basic features, including heat self-cleaning cycles, a clock, timer, and roast, broil and bake options. Unfortunately, this oven lacks a steam clean cycle, which is a quicker, more energy efficient way to clean your oven.

The Electrolux electric wall double oven features a temperature probe inside, allowing you to quickly check the internal temperature of all your dishes to ensure they are cooked thoroughly. There are 10 baking options, including rapid preheat, a bread-proof setting, and delayed bake so you can schedule the oven to cook at a later, preset time.

This oven offers a dehydrate setting, which only a few other ovens include. With this setting, you can cook food on a low temperature for an extended time. In dehydration mode you can make fruit leather and beef jerky. This is an especially nice feature for people who are into food storage. There is also a defrost setting to quickly and easily thaw foods. This double oven is pricier than some of the other ovens in our lineup.

If you don’t need the extras, there are more practical options out there, but given its feature package, its price is quite reasonable. It has a couple limitations such as only one color option. If you’re trying to match your oven to a specific color scheme in your kitchen, this could be a problem.

This Electrolux model comes with a three-year warranty for parts and a one-year warranty for labor. If you have any questions or concerns about the product, you can access the user manual on the company website or ask a representative via email or telephone. There is no live chat contact option on the Electrolux website.

Should you buy the Electrolux EI30EW45PS?

The Electrolux EI30EW45PS provides plenty of cooking space and advanced convection capabilities. The defrost and dehydrate settings are excellent additions, as is the touch display panel where you can adjust each setting. This Electrolux double oven has many features and options, which makes it an excellent companion in the kitchen no matter what types of dishes you cook.

With the oven only available secondhand, this is definitely something to consider, however, you can expect to pay less.
