The Samsung WF50K7500AW is one of the best front load washers for families or those seeking a high-tech option. It offers a host of great functions which helps it to stand out among front-loading washers. Perhaps the most obvious is the AddWash door which features on the door of the machine. This lets you add new items mid-wash, great for that pesky sock you dropped on your way to the washer or mid-cycle messes which just can’t wait.

The Samsung WF50K7500AW also promises to clean clothes in as little 36 minutes whilst still delivering a great clean. This is achieved through Samsung’s PowerFoam technology which mixes air, water and detergent to create foam which cuts through bulky loads and targets hard-to-reach stains. Combine with the steam wash which saturates items and penetrates deep into fibers to tease out tricky stains and you’ve got a powerful washer designed to target mess. There’s also 14 cycle types, from allergens to bedding and permanent press options.

Samsung WF50K7500AW review: Features

  • AddWash door
  • Quiet running
  • Self-cleaning

It may be a big model, but the Samsung WF50K7500AW front-load washer is 40% quieter than even some of Samsung’s quietest models due to its VRT Plus technology which keeps loads balanced through spins to stop noise, perfect if you want to put on a wash and not wake up the kids. Even if the kids are awake, the child lock on the Samsung WF50K7500AW means they won’t be able to interfere with the washer. Great for curious children with a penchant for pressing eye-level buttons.

For added convenience, there’s also Self Clean+ technology which means the Samsung WF50K7500AW cleans itself without you lifting a finger. And when you do need to give it a deep clean, which is every 40 cycles, the Samsung WF50K7500AW will notify you. It’s even got app connectivity which lets you know how much longer your wash has, so you can chuck your load in the dryer as soon as possible. This also offers Smart Care which runs diagnostics as soon as there’s a problem, helping you find a solution as soon as possible.

Samsung WF50K7500AW review: Size & dimensions

  • 5 cu. ft.
  • Stackable

The Samsung WF50K7500AW is a big washer with a 5 cubic foot capacity. Not quite as big as the LG WM9000HVA, but still plenty. That’s larger than most models, making it perfect for big families or those without the time to do lots of smaller washes. It’s 39-inches in height, 27-inches wide and 34-inches deep. This is a pretty standard size for a front-load washer even considering that it has an above-average capacity. Pair with the DV50K7500EW/A3, a matching dryer, for stacking in tight spaces or if you’re after a matching pair.

Samsung WF50K7500AW review: Price

  • Premium model
  • Mid-price for a high-end option

The Samsung WF50K7500AW will cost you slightly more than you’d pay for the average front-load washer. However, you do get what you pay for with neat features like the AddWash door and 14 cycle types. If you’re looking for a cheaper model, check out the Samsung WF42H5000AW.

Samsung WF50K7500AW review: Efficiency & warranty

  • Energy Star certified and ADA compliant
  • 10 year warranty on the motor

The Samsung WF50K7500AW is Energy Star certified, meaning it’ll save you money on energy in the long-run with estimated annual costs of $13. Not bad for a large model with lots of fancy features. It’s also ADA compliant, meaning it’s accessible for the disabled.

Samsung has a standard warranty on all of its front-load washers of 1 year coverage for parts and labor, as well as 3 years on the stainless steel tub and 10 years on the direct drive motor. A good warranty, although not quite as good as the warranty offered by the Maytag MHW5630HW.

Should you buy the Samsung WF50K7500AW?
