PROS / The website Wholesale2b builds will directly place orders so you don't have to.
CONS / You cannot contact Wholesale2b by phone.
VERDICT / This dropship service has a wide selection of products and multiple plans to help you sell them.
Wholesale2b has the best shipping options of any of the dropship services we reviewed. While it is lacking in account support, it has over a million products and several plans to help you sell them, so it receives our Top Ten Review Bronze award.
Inventory & Backend Management
This dropship service has many of the features for dealing with inventory and exporting products that we consider important. It has over 1 million products you can chose from in categories such as apparel, entertainment, electronics, health, home and sporting goods.
You can add products to your watch list and receive notifications when they run low on inventory. Other than that, Wholesale2b doesn't offer much in the way of tools to help you analyze your sales and the performance of the products you choose to sell.
Wholesale2b offers product exports to shopping sites and marketplaces, or you can pay for this service to build a website for you. One thing you'll need to keep in mind with this dropship service is that it does not offer a whole service, so the features you have access to may not be available depending on what plan you choose.
We rated Wholesale2b as having the best shipping options of the services we reviewed. This is chiefly because with its website plan, you can place orders directly from the created website's admin dashboard. Most other services require you to log in and place the orders from the dropship service's site. This feature can save you a lot of time and headache and is a good choice, especially if you don't yet have a website of your own.
The marketplace and data feed plans don't offer that feature, but Wholesale2b does aggregate the suppliers work with so all the products are under one roof. It also offers same day shipping on the products it drop ships.
Costs & Fees
Wholesale2b offers four different plans that you can either pay for monthly or yearly. The yearly rates are lower and will save you money. The best plan for you depends on how you plan on selling products.
If you want to sell through an online marketplace, the eBay or Amazon plans may be best for you. If you already have a website, you can pay for Wholesale2b to provide you with a data feed of products. The data feeds are compatible with most providers of shopping cart software. If you need a custom feed, you may have to pay extra. If you want to sell online but don't have a website, Wholesale2b has a plan where it will build one for you.
Wholesale2b does offer a free plan, but it does little but offer you an opportunity to look through the available products. You don't have to give any credit card information, so there's little risk involved in signing up and it may be a good idea to look through the products before you decide to commit.
There is no dropship fee for buying through Wholesale2b, but you will be charged a credit card processing fee. Other fees, such as restocking fees, vary depending on the supplier.
Wholesale2b is lacking in the customer support that we consider important in a dropship service. There is no phone number or email address listed, and the only way we were able to contact it was through the support ticket system it uses. The customer service department replied quickly through that system, but when reviewing these services, we like to contact these services through multiple channels.
Wholesale2b has multiple solutions for selling through different channels but does not provide a one-size-fits-all solution. The website plan offers you the ability to process orders directly through the site without needing to log in to Wholesale2b. You can only contact Wholesale2b through an online ticket system.
