TeamWox contact management software is an easy-to-use program that handles customer management, service desk tasking and team collaboration. With its comprehensive feature set, it functions as far more than a simple contact manager. It's lacking in marketing and sales tools, however.
The tools in TeamWox help you to better track your relationships with your company's clients and contacts. You can import information to TeamWox from various email programs to a central location that your employees can access. Permissions ensure people only have access to the program tools they need. They can contact customers by email or phone using this program and record notes during the conversation, including by uploading documents.
This contact management software can create and track invoices so you can bill customers from the program. It can also record products, but it doesn't keep an automatic inventory – you’ll need to track that in another way. This software does provide integrations with multiple third-party programs.
You can use the contact and task management tools for marketing and sales management, but you can't create email campaigns. The software has an email client similar to Outlook or Gmail that you use to send and receive messages through the contact management program. One nice feature is that if you need to pass an email to another employee, you can assign it as a task as opposed to forwarding it. This is great if you need to pass a customer question or complaint to another department but want to be sure it’s acted upon. When the other person replies, you automatically get a copy of the response.
Another strong feature is in employee management. The HR module lets you track your employees' individual information and keep notes on teamwork and collaboration in the company.
The interface isn't as sleek as other customer management software we reviewed, but it's still easy to use. The software is neatly labeled, but the overall user experience is not as good as what you'd get with better client management systems.
The online guides are extensive but simplistic. TeamWox offers a training course, which is really a PDF guide to the program. If you have specific questions that you can’t find in the guides, you can contact support by live chat. There are telephone numbers, but not for the United States. TeamWox has offices in several nations across the world, including the Middle East and the Pacific.
The TeamWox contact management system has strong tools for customer management, invoicing and employee collaboration. It has some marketing and sales tools, but few for inventory management. This downloadable program is relatively easy to use, but not as up-to-date as other cloud-based options.
