Louise Carey

Louise is the former Editor of Top Ten Reviews. With six years of editorial experience across print and digital brands, Louise has written for a variety of publications, including TechRadar, The Independent, Digital Camera World, Country Walking magazine and more. Louise began her career as a journalist at Practical Photography magazine as a features writer, producing countless photography tutorials and presenting YouTube videos. After this, she decided to dip her toes into the digital waters and joined the Digital Camera World team, writing news, reviews and features as the site's Ecommerce Editor. 

Having had her fill of writing about photography, Louise turned her attention to one of her other passions – health and fitness. She moved over to Top Ten Reviews to become the Health and Wellness Editor, focusing her attention on functional fitness and helping others build a healthy lifestyle that left plenty of room for compromise. During her tenure as Health and Wellness Editor, Louise also worked across sites including Live Science, TechRadar, Fit&Well and T3, commissioning articles on health and fitness. Louise then became the Editor of Top Ten Reviews and is excited to continue bringing readers our selections of the best brands available for everything from refrigerators to gas lawnmowers. 

In her spare time, you can either find Louise curled up on the sofa with a good book, ambling around the countryside with her camera or teaching her border collie some fun new tricks.
