Flyware allows you to keep tabs on your teen by letting you track most smartphone activities. This parental control app for teens liberates you from the worry that naturally comes with putting the entire internet in the palm of a teenager's hand. With Flyware, you will always be able to see their texts, emails and more.

There are some features missing with this mobile phone safety software to be sure, including the ability to see photos stored on the phone, but the basics all are there, including real-time GPS tracking. This means you will always be able to see where your children are during the day. You will know if they made it to class or to practice. If you decide to use this software for employees' phones, the GPS tracking will come in handy if you want to make sure they are on task.

With Flyware, you have the ability to listen to phone calls without the phone user's knowledge, and to listen to conversations and ambient noise around the phone, whether they are using it or not. However, keep in mind that this type of bugging is illegal in many places. Familiarize yourself with local laws before you use any cell phone parental control applications.

We don't recommend Flyware for monitoring younger children because it does not help you filter the internet in any way. You can't flag keywords or block websites and applications you do not like. You will only know after the fact if your child is communicating with someone that you do not consider trustworthy. Some competitors' mobile safety software allows you to block contacts like that.

Flyware's security features include an alert if the SIM card of the targeted phone is changed. Also, Flyware continues to monitor the phone even if the SIM card is switched.

Customer support for Flyware is spotty. Although there is a live chat window on the company's website, it was never staffed. We never received responses to emails either.

Flyware is missing some features we expect to see with cell phone parental controls apps, including any kind of filtering and even some logging features such as photo viewing. There are some good tools, though. You will always know where your child is with the GPS tracking, and the software does log all social networking behavior, which can be a great cause of anxiety for parents.
