You may associate Samsung with consumer electronics like smartphones, tablets, televisions and computers, but it also makes excellent household appliances, including some of the best dishwashers you can buy. Samsung dishwashers have several unique technologies that ensure your dishes are clean and sanitary. Each of the dishwashers are Energy Star certified to help protect the environment. Although the selection is slim, you can probably find a model that’s in your price range.

Samsung dishwashers come in three varieties: WaterWall, StormWash and Rotary. WaterWall machines use a high-powered spray bar that moves up and down the rear wall of the dishwasher rather than a conventional spray arm that shoots water up from the bottom of the machine. This method increases washing coverage to make sure every dish gets as clean as possible.

Samsung StormWash dishwashers take a different approach. These machines use individual rotating jets that cut through especially hard-to-clean messes, such as cooked-on food, without prewashing. This is coupled with a powerful spray arm so all the dishes in your load come out clean. StormWash machines may not get as much water coverage as WaterWall models, but you can still count on a high-quality wash.

The third series of dishwashers Samsung makes contains the Rotary models. These dishwashers use the traditional rotating spray arm attached to the bottom of the machine. They are the most conventional dishwashers offered by Samsung, and they’re the least expensive.

All the dishwashers sold by Samsung are Energy Star certified, which means they meet all the criteria set by the Environmental Protection Agency to maximize energy consumption and keep your carbon footprint to a minimum.

Samsung’s dishwasher selection is very limited compared to other brands in our review. At the time of this writing, there are only 11 models available. However, you should be able to find one that suits your needs and your budget. You can get a Samsung dishwasher for as little as $500, and the top-of-the-line models cost about $1,600.

Samsung’s dishwashers are some of the best on the market today. It makes traditional rotary models as well as some with advanced WaterWall and StormWash technology. They’re all energy efficient, and you can most likely find one that’s in your budget.
