MyFax supports most document types from Microsoft DOC or DOCX, to PDF or TXT documents, as well we image files such as TIF and JPG. Excel documents (XLS) and HTML are also supported. Faxes are sent to your email and can be read, forwarded and saved.

MyFax has three price plans for users with its Home Office Plan offering a free 30-day trial. The plan is priced at $10 a month, but they promise not to cut you off if you are in the middle of a fax and their rates are based on countries. For this, you can send up to 100 pages and receive 200 pages.

The Small Business plan allows you to send 200 pages and receive 300 pages and costs $20 a month. Fees for all countries can be viewed on the provider’s website. It would be worth looking at the prices of the annual plans as this could bring a user’s monthly cost down. The Power User plan is $40 a month.

There is also an option for a pay as you go which is ideal for people who need to send faxes occasionally. All plans are free of charge to set up. There is private and secure lifetime storage of faxes, sent and received, this is part of the service and is free of charge.

Faxes that contain mostly text take up to 60 seconds to send, but it can take up to five minutes if they contain attachments. Phone line speeds will vary as well and this can affect the time that it takes for a page to be delivered to the recipient.
