The Dell Color Cloud Multifunction H625cdw is a large and powerful wireless laser printer that produces high-quality prints. It is an all-in-one machine that can print in color, and it has a 4.3-inch color display that makes it easy to navigate settings. However, the printer’s biggest strength is its mobile printing features.

This printer is large – it weighs 69.9 pounds, over 10 pounds more than our top pick, the Samsung ProXpress, and measures 16.9 inches wide and 19.7 inches tall. It is the heaviest printer we evaluated, so it is difficult to move, and it requires a considerable amount of desk space. However, the H625cdw has a large 4.3-inch color touchscreen that makes it easy to navigate through all of the machine’s features and settings.

During our testing, this Dell model produced nearly pristine prints. We found just 12 errors in our 10-page, text-heavy test document, and many of those imperfections were small spots of unwanted ink were only visible under high magnification. When printing large blocks of color, there was minor banding, and during our Excel print test, some lines were jagged and pixelated instead of smooth and straight.

The Dell Color Cloud Multifunction H625cdw prints much faster than many similar wireless laser printers. It printed an average of 18 pages per minute in black and white and 17 pages per minute in color.

The printer holds up to 250 sheets of paper in its main paper tray and 50 in its secondary tray, which is standard for this type of device. The machine’s duty cycle of 38,000 pages per month means it can handle large quantities of documents without incurring damage. Still, Dell recommends you only print between 500 to 2,500 pages per month for optimum performance.

It costs approximately $0.24 per page when you print with standard-size toner cartridges, which is pricey for a color laser printer. However, when you use high-capacity toner cartridges, that price falls to an average of $0.15 per page, which is much more reasonable.

This wireless laser printer has excellent mobile capabilities. It has both Wi-Fi and Ethernet networking, and you can print documents from your smartphone or tablet using Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print and Mopria Mobile Print. Additionally, you can print directly from a USB flash drive and pair the printer with NFC-compatible devices with just a tap.

Further, you can use the Dell Document Hub app to print and scan. With this app, you can use your smartphone or tablet to scan from your online storage or turn scanned documents into searchable text. You can also monitor your printer’s settings and ink levels directly from your mobile device.

Dell backs up its products with great customer support. This printer model is covered under a one-year warranty, which is average for this type of product. If you have any questions about your printer, you can reach customer service representatives via email, telephone, live chat and social media. In addition, you can access the user manual online.

The Dell Color Cloud Multifunction H625cdw is one of the best multifunction wireless laser printers in our review. It produces high-quality color prints at fast speeds and has a full slate of features and mobile printing options.
