The Dell 3130CN is a laser printer that offers a large variety of features so there is something for everyone to enjoy. This device is bulky and large, which is a drawback, but it offers fast printing speeds, a high monthly duty cycle and energy-efficient features. The Dell 3130CN is a printing device that will perform well in any business or office.
This laser printer provides a maximum resolution of 600 x 600 dpi (dots per inch). This isn’t the highest amount we have seen on a laser printer but it still produced clear and sharp documents. In addition, the 3130CN supports duplex printing. This allows you to print on both sides of a single sheet of paper. This device also offers a monthly duty cycle of 70,000. This makes it possible for you to print up to 70,000 documents a month without causing any damage to the device. And another benefit to this laser printer is the device’s printing speeds. The 3130CN prints black and white documents at a speed of 31 pages per minute and color documents at a speed of 26 pages per minute. These fast printing speeds eliminates a lot of wait time for printing large documents.
If you are looking for a device to help keep your carbon footprint down, the 3130CN helps you save a large amount of energy. This laser printer uses only 460 watts of power, which is a low amount of energy consumption for such a powerful device. As we mentioned before, the Dell 3130CN is a large and bulky device. It takes up a large amount of space on a desk and it stands tall, making it seem even heftier. This laser printer is 15.8 inches wide, 18.5 inches tall and 19.8 inches deep. It also weighs 55.7 pounds, making it difficult to move, especially on a frequent basis. However, the printer is easy to use. A control panel is located on the top of the device and features a small display screen and a few control buttons. You won’t need to have any extensive knowledge of printers to take full advantage of each of the features available on this device.
The Dell 3130CN is a laser printer with a lot to offer. The color space and image correction technology are standout features on this device, along with the high monthly duty cycle and the easy-to-use design. We were disappointed to see the bulkiness of the printer, but if you are looking for a feature-rich laser printer for an office environment, this may be worth your consideration.
