PROS / You get a couple of eco-friendly functions to help you be energy efficient.

CONS / The warranty on this unit is very short.

VERDICT / The Frigidaire FFBD2411NS dishwasher offers basic functions and features that will do a sufficient job of washing, sanitizing and drying your dishes.

The Frigidaire FFBD2411NS dishwasher offers mostly basic functionality and features, but it does have a few attractive features that make it worth a look. However, it falls short in warranty coverage, and the sound level is one of the highest out of the units we reviewed.

You can fit up to 14 place settings in a single load on this Frigidaire dishwasher’s two racks, which is fairly standard. You get five wash cycles and five additional wash options on this built-in dishwasher.

The five wash cycles are energy saver, light, normal, rinse-only and a pots and pans wash cycle. The five wash options are high-temp wash, heat dry, delay start, child lock and a sanitize option. While the dishwasher has several wash options, it lacks a delicate wash cycle, small load wash option and a quick wash cycle.

The energy saver wash cycle conserves energy while still effectively cleaning your dishes. When selected, this wash cycle will minimize energy use without significantly taking away from the wash performance you desire. However, it's best to use this wash cycle only when you are washing lightly soiled or pre-washed dishes.

This unit also includes an eco-friendly dry function. You can opt to let your dishes air dry instead of selecting the heated dry function, which will use the heating element to dry the dishes and will use more energy.

Although this built-in dishwasher is ENERGY STAR qualified, it is among the least energy-efficient units we reviewed. According to its EnergyGuide, this Frigidaire dishwasher is estimated to consume an annual 269 kilowatt-hours, which would cost you around $32 to operate every year.

The warranty coverage Frigidaire offers with this dishwasher is short and nowhere near the industry standard. Overall, you only get one year of coverage with this unit, whereas many manufacturers will include lengthier coverage on certain parts of the unit like its racks, electronics, door liner and tub.

The Frigidaire FFBD2411NS dishwasher is basic, to say the least. It is an energy-efficient dishwasher that has eco-friendly functions. However, the unit isn’t backed by a good warranty, which makes it less attractive and unable to compete with top-rated dishwashers.
