With its five ink cartridges and a printing resolution of 5760 x 1440, the Epson Expression Premium XP-800 printer can give you some remarkable photos and images. This compact all-in-one inkjet printer can also handle faxing, scanning and copying as well as such exceptional tasks as printing on CDs and DVDs.
The Epson Expression XP line of inkjet printers includes a variety of models that offer different characteristics, price points and capabilities. However, the Epson Expression Premium XP-800 is a dandy choice for home office use. You have the option of using its Ethernet, memory card or wireless capabilities. If you are somewhere other than your office and decide you have found something you would love to print, you can handle that easily with just a touch of the finger on a mobile device using Epson Connect, Google Cloud Print or Apple AirPrint.
This device prints at a rate of 12 pages per minute for black and white prints and 11 pages a minute for color prints. Borderless printing is a breeze with this Epson Expression Premium; it can handle large documents and provides auto duplexing. It comes equipped with a 30-page auto document feeder. If you want an eco-friendly device, this one supports printing on recycled paper.
You also get some tidy faxing capabilities with this all-in-one printer, including a faxing speed of four seconds per page, a fax memory of 100 pages and a fax speed dial memory of 60 numbers. Its paper tray holds only 100 pages of plain paper, which is disappointing since other models are capable of much more.
Copy speeds are rather good with this printer coming in at 11 copies per minute for black and white copies and 8.2 copies per minute for color.
Epson's help and support includes drivers and software downloads, a user guide and quick setup guide, frequently asked questions, tutorials, a troubleshooting guide and the speedier route of email or phone support. Unfortunately, you do not get live chat, which can give quick answers to pesky problems.
This is a practical all-around machine that can take on a good number of the printing, faxing, copying and scanning tasks that are necessary in many home offices.
