If you are seeking easy and excellent photo printing on the go, the HP Photosmart D110A photo printer is the wireless answer for you. This handy and hardworking model frees you from PC printing, makes photo editing a breeze and is sold by a company that has taken considerable care in trying to be as environmentally friendly as possible.

This printer provides a color resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi (dots per inch) and a black-and-white resolution of 600 x 600 dpi. The print speeds are excellent at 6 ppm for black and white and 4 ppm for color. This means you can print an attractive photo in about 26 seconds.

You also get a plentiful supply of paper sizes from which to choose: letter, legal, executive, card, 3 x 5 inches and 18.5 x 30 inches. You can use plain, inkjet or photo paper, and this printer can handle envelopes, transparencies, labels, iron-on transfers and more. Photos can be a maximum of 4 x 6 inches, and this printer's paper tray holds 15 sheets of photo paper.

Hewlett-Packard pledges that, using its ink and paper, your photos will look attractive and last for generations. This printer comes with a 2.36-inch LCD TouchSmart Frame that lets you preview and edit photos until they are just the way you want them to look before you print them.

You can print easily with a memory card. However, the wireless printing capabilities of this printer are helpful indeed. You can print from virtually anywhere and share pictures with friends and family

If you want, you can print from an iPad, iPod Touch or iPhone through the wireless AirPrint. The set up for the wireless capability is easy and takes little time. Once you are finished with that, all you need to do is tap your finger on a screen a few times to send attractive photos to printers anywhere. You can also print photos to your Hewlett-Packard printer by using a smartphone, laptop or mobile device and employing HP's ePrint and a wireless network.

With this printer, you also enjoy a considerable amount of flexibility – you can print and share photos of your own as well as material you have found on the web.

You can really enjoy this printer with HP's free downloadable Photo Creations software. This lets you create such things as calendars, greeting cards, photo collage posters, scrapbook pages, photo books and even photo collages that can be inserted into specially designed mugs. You get more than 1,800 art designs, 1,300 graphics and other things like text boxes, custom fonts, borders and more. You can work with your pictures easily with the software's drag-and-drop capability.

Hewlett-Packard prides itself on being environmentally friendly and has even set yearly goals for various products and environmental efforts. This printer is ENERGY STAR qualified, and the company maintains that you can reduce the amount of paper you use by printing several pages on one sheet. You also can purchase recycled ink cartridges that are made of 70 percent recycled plastic.

Although this printer is portable, it is not the easiest to carry around compared to many others on the market. It weighs 10.3 pounds and stands 7 inches high, with a depth of 15.9 inches and a width of 17.4 inches.

Hewlett-Packard is not stingy when it comes to providing you with a wide variety of customer help and support options. You get free live chat for technical support if you are a warranty holder. Once the warranty expires in a year, you have to pay a fee for live technical support chat.

You also get the benefit of Hewlett-Packard email and phone support before you buy a printer, as well as email and phone assistance after you have made your purchase and need some help with the printer. HP offers toll-free phone numbers 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You also get speedy answers to emailed questions, and Hewlett-Packard states that certain emails can be answered in as little as one hour.

Spanish-speaking consumers are in luck; in an exceptionally helpful touch, Hewlett Packard offers them support phone service in their own language, which is a characteristic not seen among any of the other photo printers in our product line-up.
