Just because you and your doctor have decided you should use an oxygen concentrator to help you breathe easier, it doesn’t mean you have to lug around an unattractive device. The Philips SimplyGo Mini comes with a variety of stylish carrying cases that discreetly look like most garden-variety bags.

With black and brown color options and multiple styles, you can opt to tote around your concentrator by hand, over your shoulder like a purse or as a small backpack. No matter which bag you choose, you’ll be able to easily access the interface panel to adjust settings. Additionally, each bag has a mesh net around the vent area, so it’ll always have access to fresh air and prevent it from overheating.

The device weighs about 5 pounds, so it’s not difficult to carry no matter where you go. Only a few devices (Inogen One G4 and the Caire Medical Airsep Focus) are lighter. It’s also FAA approved, so you can carry it along with you if you need to take a flight. The standard included battery can provide you with up to 4.5 hours of run time, depending on your flow rate setting, and if you include the extended battery in your set up, you’ll have power for up to 9 hours.

You can rest assured that if there is any sort of issue with the machine, it will alert you. There are alerts for external power failure, depleted or low battery, no flow, high breath rate, no breath and low oxygen concentration. You can interact with the device via its touch-screen LCD to view alerts, adjust flow rates and view other system information and settings.

While it’s running, the machine’s noise level averages at about 43 decibels, which is roughly equivalent to a whisper. Having a quiet concentrator means less sound disturbances at night as well as when you’re out in public.

If you have questions about the product, you can contact the Philips customer service department directly by telephone or peruse the FAQs section on the company’s website.

With Philips’ SimplyGo Mini portable oxygen concentrator, you can go out and enjoy life without feeling self-conscious about using supplemental oxygen. The stylish carrying case options let you choose the style and color that best matches your preferences and needs, and the device itself is quiet, lightweight and easy to use.
