New at CES 2025: This battery-powered lawn mower is straight out of a sci-fi film!
It's the Ferarri of lawn mowers
CES is always a great place to find the coolest and oddest tech from around the world. While battery-powered lawn mowers are nothing new, the Easysurge mower from Litheli is probably the coolest lawn mower I’ve ever seen.
The Easysurge was announced on January 7th at CES 2025 (along with a new company logo) and is certainly the most unique-looking lawn mower I’ve come across in quite a long time. The person I spoke to at the show said the design was inspired by high-end sports cars, and I can definitely see it.

The first thing you notice is the race-car-style steering wheel in place of a typical handlebar. The safety catch is behind it, much like the gear shift paddles in a sports car, and the LCD display gives you battery info and speed controls. The handle also folds over for easy storage.
The coolest part to me is the “world’s first electric 6-height adjustment system”. You adjust the height on the display, and the mower automatically adjusts to the desired cutting height. Now you don’t have to kneel down and fiddle with a handle or bar to adjust it, it’s all down with electric motors.
Speaking of motors, the Easysurge houses a 20V, 1,000W motor that cranks up to 4100rpm with an empty grass catcher. You can place up to four batteries in the Easysurge and it will intelligently switch to the full batteries when it’s running low so you don’t have to get back to the garage to swap them out. The batteries charge with the proprietary charging dock, or you can plug them in with a USB-C cable. And best of all, they can double as a power bank for your phone or tablet.
Litheli says you should get up to 100 minutes of runtime or about 1/2 acres with four batteries which is pretty high compared to many other battery-powered mowers we’ve tested.

The Easysurge has an 18.5 inch cutting width and at launch time will only have a bagger, so no mulching options. They did confirm that both a mulcher and side discharge attachment are coming, but didn’t give me a time frame.

You can pre-order the Easysurge now for $350 with two batteries and $430 with four batteries, which is honestly a pretty insane price for what you’re getting. It’s expected to ship around March 1. You better believe we’ll be reviewing this bad boy, so stay tuned for that when it publishes.
