The Frigidaire WLVF-10343 is a modern-style, wall-mounted electric fireplace with a handful of features to give your living area a sleek look. You can add heat to a large area of your home in just a matter of minutes and enjoy the atmosphere a fireplace can provide, with or without heat.
You get the standard two heat settings on this electric fireplace – low and high. You can even just have the effect of flames without heat. This option gives you the ambiance of a real fireplace without heating your home.
This unit is designed to heat a room of up to 400 square feet. The low heat setting draws 750 watts of power and has a Btu capacity of 2,500, while the high heat setting draws 1,500 watts and has a Btu capacity of 5,000 to heat the room – all of which is pretty standard for an electric fireplace.
This Frigidaire fireplace has a digital display with touchscreen controls, making it simple to operate and adding to its modern look. It also comes with rock inserts and an LED flame effect. You can even adjust the flame and flicker. These features give the unit a more realistic fireplace look.
This electric wall fireplace weighs 32.4 pounds and measures 35.5 x 22.2 x 3.8 inches. This is a pretty average size and weight for an electric fireplace. If you plan to install it above or below a television or above a piece of furniture, you'll want to make sure to leave at least 36 inches of space in between.
You don't get a timer on this unit, which would let you bypass the automatic shut-off for a specified time, but it does have other convenience features that we like to see. For instance, you can operate it with the remote control, which makes it easy to turn on and off from across the room. The automatic shut-off safety feature ensures the unit doesn't overheat. Furthermore, you can install the unit yourself with the included mounting hardware.
