A favorite among professional installers and picky home theater enthusiasts alike, AudioQuest has been making high end audio and video cables since 1980. The AudioQuest HDMI X cable falls in the middle of their range of five HDMI cable models and is the one that most nearly corresponds to other cables on this site. It features excellent materials and workmanship and will meet or exceed the standards required to be designated a high speed HDMI cable. Unfortunately, like other pricier cables surveyed, most consumers are likely to find the additional price unwarranted when comparing performance to more economical options. For side by side comparisons and objective reviews of other highly rated products in this category, check out our HDMI Cables review site.

Standout Features

• 10.2 Gbps Data Transfer
• Longer lengths rated for In-Wall Installation
• 1.25% Silver to Enhance Conductivity
• Braided or PVC Jacketed

AudioQuest HDMI X series cables are well constructed and employ generally more expensive materials and manufacturing techniques than most competing cables. For consumers who seek the best cables available regardless of price, these are worth consideration. We believe, however, that most people will be better served by purchasing top quality cables that meet all high speed HDMI specifications at far lower cost.
