"He seemed like the perfect gentleman at first," Sarah recalls, her voice trembling slightly. "He brought flowers, paid for dinner, and listened intently to everything I said. I thought I had finally found 'the one'."
The change was subtle at first. A comment about my outfit, a suggestion that I shouldn't see certain friends.
The Trap Closes
Within a week, Sarah found herself moving into his isolated home. "He framed it as a romantic getaway," she explains. "He said he wanted to spend every second with me. I was flattered, completely blind to the danger."
But once the door locked behind her, the charming facade crumbled. His possessiveness turned into aggressive demands. Her phone was confiscated. Her keys vanished. She was completely cut off from the outside world.
A Desperate Escape
