Dan Mold
Dan is Technique Editor on PhotoPlus: The Canon Magazine magazine. With over a decade writing about all things tech he’s written for a variety of publications before joining Future in April 2019 in that time working across Top Ten Reviews, PhotoPlus, NPhoto, Digital Camera and Digital Photographer magazines as well as the website www.digitalcameraworld.com
A former sales assistant on the Audio Visual department at his local John Lewis store, Dan has a wealth of knowledge and strong interest for all things tech related - whether that’s smartphones and watches, laptops and gaming PCs, cameras and printers or televisions and tablets. His sales background gives him a unique insight into what consumers are looking for in their latest smart gadgets and has been an invaluable insight to have when reviewing the latest tech.
With his dayjob writing for PhotoPlus magazine it’s no surprise that Dan specialises in photography. Able to shoot all genres, he provides news, techniques and tutorials on everything from portraits and landscapes to macro and wildlife, helping photographers get the most out of their cameras, lenses, filters, lighting, tripods and, editing software.
After work he trades cameras for guitars and you’ll most likely find him nerding out at a guitar store or rehearsing with his band.
