Dewalt’s previous circular saw models have proven popular with tradesmen and it’s the same story for the DeWalt DWE575 Circular Saw. This powerful and versatile tool can tackle wood, ceramic and tile cutting with ease, making it a great addition to your toolkit.

For a tool that can tackle more than just DIY jobs, it provides really good value. It’s cheaper than some of the professional saws included in our best circular saws guide, but it certainly holds its own on the job.

Dewalt DWE575 Circular Saw: Pricing and value

The Dewalt DWE575 Circular Saw is about double the price of budget models, like the Black & Decker BDECS300C, sitting at the $120 price point. But for the extra cash, it offers more power, professional features, and great performance.

This circular saw is built for a professional job site, from the heavy duty cord to lightweight and ergonomic design, there has been great attention to detail applied here. But it also manages to sit at a lower price point than other professional circular saws, like the Makita 5007MG, making it great value for money.

Dewalt DWE575 Circular Saw: Features

As you might expect from a higher-priced saw, the Dewalt DWE575 Circular Saw comes with a range of features designed to make it much more suitable for professional use than budget models, like the SKIL 5280-01. A 15 Amp motor provides more power to tackle even tough jobs, while an anti-snag, ball-bearing lower guard allows for smooth guard operation.

While a cordless circular saw can be useful for certain jobs, a corded saw like the Dewalt DWE575 tends to be far more useful across a wide range of jobs, so this saw’s heavy duty strain relief on its power cord means it’s that bit more resilient and provides longer durability against cord pull outs.

Weighing just 8.8 pounds, this circular saw is one of the lightest in its class, while still being well-balanced, easy-to-use, and with a good ergonomic design. It also has improved visibility, with a clear line of sight so you can see precisely what you’re doing from any angle. An integrated dust blower also helps to keep that line of sight clear and unobstructed, while a durable, high-grade aluminum base also helps produce accurate cuts.

It also features a pretty impressive 57 degrees of bevelling, adding another degree of bevel capacity to Dewalt’s previous models, allowing it to quickly and easily achieve bevel cuts that are just out of reach of other circular saws. Depth of cut is really good too, with a 2-9/16″ capacity, also better than previous Dewalt models.

With a three year warranty and one year of free servicing included, Dewalt is making sure this circular saw stays on the job and even throws in a 90-day money-back guarantee if you’re still not sure if it’s the saw for you.

Should you buy the  Dewalt DWE575 Circular Saw?

For DIYers looking to complete a job or two, the Dewalt DWE575 Circular Saw would probably be overkill and they would be better served saving some cash by looking at the Black & Decker BDECS300C instead. But for professionals and serious DIYers alike, this circular saw offers a great range of useful features that not only make your life a bit easier, but help to expand the life of the saw. It’s not even at the top end of the market price-wise so it’s a great value circular saw.
