We first saw this brilliant iPad deal a few weeks ago – and it’s still going. Walmart has slashed the price of the latest Apple iPad (32GB) by a generous 25%. That means you can buy the 32GB Apple iPad for just $249, down from $329.99 – which is a smooth $80 discount, and the lowest price we’ve seen so far for Apple's newest tablet.
Happily, this cheap iPad deal comes just in time for anyone looking for a last-minute Father’s Day gift. Could the price be beaten by one of the best Amazon Prime Day deals we’re expecting in July? Anything could happen, but for us the risk of missing out on this large discount offsets any marginal gain that might come from Prime Day. And we don’t expect to see the price drop much further than this, anyway, if at all.
The 2018 iPad was already the cheapest tablet in Apple’s range. Packing a powerful A10 Fusion processor, iOS 11, 9.7-inch retina display and – crucially – support for the excellent Apple Pencil, it delivers laptop-like performance while opening up a raft of creative opportunities too. (You do have to buy the Apple Pencil separately though.)
With this Walmart sale, the 2018 Apple iPad is the most affordable it's ever been. But it’s a limited-time promotion, so bear in mind that it won’t last forever.
Walmart isn't only selling the newest iPad with a large discount. The retailer also has the 8-inch Apple iPad Mini 4 on sale for $299.99, down from $399.99. That's a whopping $100 discount, making it 25% cheaper than usual.
